Taifa (nation) center will be a center of excellence where myriad activities will be accommodated. It will be home to Kenyan African art and cultural exhibitions, attracting over 1,000 people from Kenya and the United States of America every year. In addition, youth and young adults, will use it as a recreational and sports center where fitness/wellness will be realized. Taifa Center will host small and large banquets/ receptions with exquisite catering. Even more, Taifa Center will host events and conference with a seating capacity of about 1,000.The center will attempt to meet the needs of the larger community in Metro Atlanta and beyond.
A land plot where the center will be built has been identified next to Kenyan American Community Church in Marietta (761 Elberta Dr. Marietta GA 30066). Funds mobilization will include donations, walks, and other earmarked fundraiser efforts. The envisaged time for the Center's completion is 5 years with capital campaign goal of $1.5m
